Feb 18, 2024: I saw this sock fell in love, especially with the ribbed heel. Unfortunately, the pattern is no longer available on Ravelry. The colorwork is a common pattern. I found it in the Harmony Guide #3.

I don’t have the pattern. I made mine based on other Raveler’s finished socks. I made mine like a modified Strong Heel with increases worked around a constant number of middle heel sts. I found this video by Roxanne Richardson to be a very useful resource.

I later found this pattern by This Handmade Life later and I think it is very similar.

GTCO 72st on US 2 needles. Switched immediately to US 0. I knit the entire socks on US 0.

At first I did the increases around middle 10 heel sts but it was too narrow for my chunky heel. So I ripped and made the increases around the middle 18 sts. I like the fit better.

Measurements after blocking:
Cuff: 4.3cm; 1.75 inches
Leg with cuff, before heel increases: 18.5cm
Heel turn to beg of toe decreases: 17cm
Toe: 4.8cm
Heel to Toe: 21.8cm
Width at foot section: 7cm (ribbing pattern unstretchd)
