July 22, 2025: My son purchased this yarn on a trip to Wales. This is a plain vanilla sock with a Ducathi heel. It was finished sometime ago, but I got the pictures today. It fits my son’s feet well.

Cast on 68 sts and work 1x1 ribbing for 20 rows followed by stockinette. The entire sock is made with 68 sts. Length before beginning heel, including ribbing is 7 inches. A 6 st, 12 row Ducathi gusset. Heel to end of toe is 9.75 inches. End of gusset to beginning of toe is 5.74 inches. Rounded Wedge toe; 2.25 inches or 6 cm long.

Measurements AFTER blocking:
Top to beginning of Ducathi gusset: 6.5 inches, 20 rows of cuff and 68 rows of stockinette
End of Ducathi gusset to beginning of toe: 5.25”, 70 rows of stockinette
End of Ducathi gusset To the end of the toe: 7.75”
Width of the sock: 22cm (after it has been worn)
