Repeat from beginning.

Last time I knitted the Fish Lips Kiss Heel, I found it just a little tight. But last time it was with a lace pattern over a total of 60 sts in my Almondine socks. This time, I am using 68, so 34 for the heel. 6 pattern repeats before heel, one repeat on the instep while working the mini-flap on the back of the heel (approx. 1”). Good fit this time without need for gusset. Even though the FLK math doesn’t work for me, I love the Twin Stitch turns on the short rows (aka Shadow Wraps). Such a beautiful line with no holes.

Five repeats after the heel and mini-flap, then change to 2.5mm needles for two more repeats.
12 rows garter and Russian bind off for cuff.

First sock 42g.
