PATTERN PROBLEMS:
Row.3 references stitch sets that do not exist and requires you to work into Chains (not Chain-spaces) that aren’t where the instructions say they should be. While the instructions for Row.1, Row.2, and the Picot Row are fine, the utter lack of clarity for Row 3 makes this pattern unworkable as written (-2 stars).

Additionally, there is no chart included that would aid in making the text instructions clear (-1 star), and no additional images (or video link) to support the user other than the low-resolution cover image that fails to show even a single motif flat to facilitate deciphering. (-1 star)

MY WORKAROUND:
All that considered, I’ve abandoned efforts to complete Row.3 and will just work a modified Picot Row to finish the piece.

FUTURE PROJECT IDEA:
A triangular lace shawl based on this pattern, worked in either yarn or thread, would be quite pretty. The top picot for each snowflake would be anchored in the base-row ‘V’ between flakes on the previous row, leaving the bottom half of each row to cascade down the piece.
