I modified Suzie’s design a bit - two less rows around to make a tighter fit. I threaded the buttons onto the joining yarn to avoid sewing them on individually later (shouldn’t matter since they aren’t functional and don’t need so much reinforcement). I also sc’d around the top in purple once, 4 times on the bottom (increasing a bit each round) and 5 times for thumb (decreasing each round). Then I took black and did a picot stitch (1 sc, ch2, 1 sc in base of sc, 1 sc in next) around.

Wanted these to have a Victorian look to them and I made these to match a purple jacket I have but know these would look fabulous with a black wool coat too.

After a little wear, the yarn is starting to feel coarse and fuzzing up. I may try these again in a different yarn - higher quality / merino wool?
