finished hood part in about 2 days - super easy knit. This alone with the scarf would make a really nice, easy hooded scarf project - just omit horsey add-ons.

Ears took about 15 minutes.
Horn - I used 2 strands of worsted weight Caron Super Soft and 1 strand of very thin holo metallic thread held together. Might make this shorter again - feels like adult is too large but will see when it’s all together.

Decided to do scarf after all (was considering just putting drawstring on bottom) since I have so much yarn left still to match. Using a shimmery grey for pocket fronts (yay more stash-busting!) - should be fun

May 22nd: will have to frog the scarf. Not enough yarn. Considering doing a cowl instead and attaching that to the hood. Adding hair first and will decide between cowl and drawstring.

May 29th: decided to finish bottom with applied i chord drawstring and tassels at end to match mane. Made the chord very long but I can wrap around my neck or tie a big bow. I could easily shorten.

I can’t wait to take this down the sledding hill with the kids this winter!
