I purchased the pattern for me but the first sweater I made was for my tiny then 3 months old daughter. But despite the adjustments the sweater grew so much when wet that for a few cm in length and sleeves it fitted my then 20 months old son. I used Malabrigo Sock for that, which resulted (although large) in a wonderful soft and light knit.
So I decided to make some changes and go for a cotton yarn to make Nick a light summer sweater.
Love how it turned out especially the longer back (although cotton yarn is not my favourite for knitting!).

note to self:
- rather loose knitting despite the swatch, perhaps 3,0 and 2,5 NS with this yarn?
- dec.: modified Lk2tog to mirror decreases
- tried A LOT of different ribbings for the neck (no problem with the first sweater = merino yarn) but cotton was a problem, or it didn´t stretch sufficiently or ist was sloppy despite al “stretchy” BOs I tried. After about 6 attempts I noticed that the neck was fine as it was - no finishing needed for a casual look. If I knit a similar and want to leave the neck opening as it is, make it a bit smaller.
