I finished this sweater yonks back (but I just haven’t had the opportunity (or inclination) to wear and photograph. Just sometimes, waiting for the right moment, really pays off…

Both location (Antrim Coastline) and temperature (surprisingly mild for Late-October along the Causeway Coastal path) made this knit thoroughly enjoyable to wear! Not even my floor length, padded coat was required today - testament to the warming properties of good wool!

I’ve knitted this with one strand of #Ullcentrum (100% Swedish wool) in dark grey - purchased from @midwinteryarns AND held together with a strand of #dropskidsilk in ‘charcoal’ - together they are sublime!
Light. Airy. Warm (but not in an overbearing kind of way). Plus, the fuzz of the mohair, with just that little bit of silk thread running through, really softens the fabric - it is really wearable (directly onto skin).

This is a simple cropped pullover with deep cuff and hem (which creates an incredibly flattering shape - a relaxed fit with a little structure in the right places) and this pullover promises to be one that I can readily throw on and layer. It’s simply great!

What I love: super speedy to knit up! Especially a bonus now my knit opportunities are limited to lazy Sundays (which are few and far between) and holidays (also few and far between).
