Managed to get the best fabric with these 2 yarns - tried Grignasco Bambi but too fine. There is no gauge listed in the pattern which makes it hard to judge what needles/yarn to use.

I’ve tried 2.5mm, 2.75mm and have settled on 3mm as the previous made the mittens too small.

I hand dyed the Bambino the right colour with food dye cos I’m trying to stash bust. I have until mid-May to finish them, but they are really addictive.

EDIT - made 2 mittens, one was bigger than the other. Had to frogg one, and re-knit which sucked the life out of me. I do love them and the recipient loves them more = worth it!
