02/05/11 The yarn broke on one of the floats shortly after I made these socks. Thinking there was no hope for me and socks I hid them away. I repaired the hole and am hoping for the best because these socks are so pretty, soft, and warm.

2/26/09 Both socks have heels and have since November. I just need to knit the cuffs and hope to for Malabrigo March over in the Mal Junkies board.

11/15/08 I am knitting these toe up with 60 stitches. The pattern is simple, but I keep spacing and knitting on the patterned rows and vice versa. Because of the pull of the slipped stitches the sole and the instep are out of sync. I have been adding short rows periodically to make up for that. There is still some wonkiness, but not as much as there would be if I hadn’t.
