Finished, blocked gauge from previous completed sweater projects in this base:
US 4 = 24.5” sts in 4”
US 5 = 23.5” sts x 31 rows in 4”
US 6 = 20 sts in 4”

Will use needle sizes US 5 & 3 for this project; may have to adjust for looser row gauge (31 rows/4” v. 36 rows/4” in pattern).

Did not need to knit any additional rows before starting shoulder shaping for front/back. Picked up number of sts for collar specified for Size 1, not Size 2, because otherwise the collar would have flared. These things are probably due to my looser row gauge.

No other modifications! A fun knit, and the lace/cable pattern is very easy to memorize. This size has less than the recommended amount of ease in the pattern and still fits very nicely (about 3” of positive ease for me).
