Went up one needle size from pattern suggestion because I’m a tight knitter. Used cable cast-on to better blend with slip-stitch edge.

I needed 3 sts per pooling color to make one cluster.

Because this is a single-ply yarn, the Russian join suggested in the pattern isn’t feasible. I spit-spliced the ends of my skeins together to join the second skein when I used up the first.

Ribbed border and bind-off used 66g of second skein. Did not use stretchy bind-off as suggested by pattern because I’ve found that this causes my shawl edge to flare.

Wet-blocked flat; only used four pins to hold corners and center in place. Blocked to exact pattern dimensions -- miracle!
