Swatching for two sweaters at the same time: this one, and Joji’s Vneck Boxy, which I will also be making with KPPPM.

Vneck Boxy dimensions, for reference:
Body circumference: 66 ½“
Sleeve circumference: 9¼”

Using full 100g skein from Striation Shawl pack for front & back shoulders (knit flat), then adding leftover mini-skeins in a striping sequence once body has been joined in the round.

Gauge swatch on US 5, blocked:
23.5 sts x 38 rows = 4”

Measurements from previously knit Deschain:
Neckline width = 10”
Body width = 25”
Armhole depth = 5” (could make 1” deeper)

Calculations for back cast-on:
25” - 10” = 15”/2 = 7.5”
Right shoulder (7.5”) = 45 sts
Neck (10”) = 60 sts
Left shoulder (7.5”) = 45 sts
Total cast-on for back = 150 sts
Short rows every 6 sts (approx. 1”)

Calculations for neckline shaping:
Neck = 60 sts
Cast-on sts for neck = 20 sts
10 increase rows RS only
10 increase rows RS & WS

For sleeves, picked up 3 of every 4 sts — total 78 sts.
