Northfield Yarn Summer Club 2023 KAL.

Went up a needle size because I’m a tight knitter. Used cable cast-on.

At mid-point mark, decided to use written instructions instead of charts. Charts in this pattern differ from convention, and I kept making mistakes! Pretty much everything in the first half of this shawl is a “design element,” haha. It looks fine though.

Did not go up a needle size for i-cord bind-off because I usually don’t have an issue with tight bind-offs. Decided to wet-block instead of steam-block as suggested in pattern because my shawl was very “bumpy” and would need a lot of encouragement to reach pattern schematic dimensions!
