I really need to use up a bucket of Aran scraps and leftovers. So I’m making this afghan, just in HDC stripes, one colour per stripe. I’d never be able to put such a colour palette together without agonising for hours, so I wrote each colour on a little piece of paper and picked them out from a bowl, so they are properly randomly picked.

Rather than weave in all the ends, I added some extra lengths, and then turned them into a twisted fringe.
