I like the slip stitch heel flap from sock 9 so much, I tried it again on this sock. I don’t know whether it’s the yarn, but this time it was very loose and floppy, and I didn’t like it. So I tried the diamond heel instead.

It worked out much better, no picking up stitches, no short rows, and no interruption to the flow of the colours in the yarn.
