After my DH said he wasn’t bothered about having hand knitted socks, I’ve had to prise him out of the previous 2 pairs, and have just finished this third pair for him. He loves them. Probably TMI, but they keep his feet fresher as well.

Not overly fond of this wool, though. It was a bit fuzzy which meant I had to be careful not to split it. However, once was aware of this, I was able to knit it without difficulty, and they worked up really nicely.

Update. These socks have now been worn and (gently) washed twice and have bobbled and felted. I wouldn’t use this yarn again
