35 squares, and I’ve added a lattice row to make them a little bigger, at about 8” (20cm). It was just a (DC, ch1, sk1) for the first round, then sc in each st and ch for the next round. I joined the squares with a sc through back loop to make a nice ridge on the front. The border is really great, sits nice and flat and square.

The colour doesn’t show up very well here, it’s REALLY red!

Just love this pattern, easy to memorise, and great for working on in front the telly!
