Please Note: We changed the k2tog decreases to be “k1, ssk” everywhere in the pattern to better match the two edges. The way the bias slants, the k2tog decrease caused a rippled edge, which we did not find as visually appealing.

We also opted to make this shorter than the pattern suggested (five repeats of the stripe sequence instead of seven) for a 78” long scarf after blocking. There would have been more than enough yarn left to do the other two stripe sequences, but the test knitter prefers shorter scarves.
