This is for my sister (who is not on ravelry, but knits). It was supposed to be for her birthday, but I have missed that. :/

Loving the yarn and the pattern too. Makes a nice change in texture and style from the sunshine blankets I’m making.

I hit a crisis with this one roughly halfway and seriously considered frogging it, but continued while browsing for an alternative pattern and finally finished it today.

Washed and hanging in the bathroom now ready to block tomorrow. With luck I’ll get it to my sister this week.
