Notes
  • Using two strands of brushed alpaca and one of Cascade Yarn for the hood, as I want to use leftovers from my stash. I really need to stop buying new yarn and use my stash!

  • Going down one needle size, I believe the fabric is too airy with 10mm needles.

  • Gauge: 10 sts x 10 cm. Casting on extra 10 sts.

  • I don’t like that it’s so small, barely reaching the shoulders, so I’ve done a moos-stitch border, I picked up one stitch per row, and kept knitting until I finished all the yarn. Moss stitch has a wider gauge than the row gauge, but it looks great, just like a cape!

  • Blocking the hood aggressively, want it to grow bigger for a more dramatic look.

  • Front border is curling, so annoying, hope blocking will solve the problem.

  • Tried all shades of green I had, knitted leaves with different yarns and combination of yarns, in different sides and shades, I like it better this way, it’s more diverse and interesting. 30 leaves in total.

  • Also knitted extra berries in red and in white, as well as extra flowers and vines. I want it to be studded with flowers and leaves!
