Tilly Buddy’s very stretchy cast on with 5mm.

Combo purled in the ribbing. 15 rounds including decrease round. Did ptog instead of ktog.
Knit the first round in my usual continental style. Decided to try Portuguese knitting for the first time on the second row but could tell that my gauge would have been looser. Back to continental.

Setup round still in continental. Transitioned to St st with k1 below on the knits going into knits.

Will do body of hat on same needles but in Portuguese style with the assumption that my gauge will be looser so there’s no need to size up.
