I got halfway through the ribbing and suddenly realized that I had not gone down a needle size…. the crochet cast on was annoying me. I was suddenly realizing the ribbing would not flow into the design. Time to rip back!

Recast on with the long tail and jiggered the ribbing a bit to line up with the future panels. If I did it again, I’d jigger it a little differently, but it’ll do.

Working nicely! So much happier with it the second time around.

Having the yarn in lots of little balls is annoying— a mess of trailing ends inside— but there’s something also to the ‘just one more ball’…..

And…. it’s done! Quick knit. Ingenious design. I think this will be a perfect daily wear T if it ever gets warm again.
