As soon as I saw this test knit, I knew I had to knit it. I love all of Lynn’s patterns. They are always clearly written and enjoyable knits. I tested multiple yarns to find the perfect one. And finally decided on Miss Baby Yowza in Beachglass which is a light worsted weight. With this my gauge was spot on. Having enough yardage was a concern but I decided to risk it. The pattern in size Large calls for 1164 yards and I had 1120 yards. As a result, I was only able to complete 22 repeats instead of 23 as I ran low on yarn. I was using 1 gram per row and after 22 repeats I had 18 grams left over or 7.76 yards. By my calculations I would have been just about 2 grams short had I knit the 23rd repeat. Again this was a delightful knit as it contained both mindless knitting and a lace pattern. I love knitting lace and cables. Thank you Lynn for allowing me to test knit another of your wonderful patterns. (Completed pictures to follow as I need to block it first.)

I did not have time to seam this prior to my family reunion. Will do that in a week or so and post photos of it modeled at that time.

Gauge after blocking in stockinette is 16 sts/23 rows = 4”
