18 Jan ‘13: I’ve been “volunteered” to GM a MERPS game. Guess I need a dice bag. Knitting one up for me to check I know what I’m doing, and then another for my future brother-in-law.

19 Jan ‘13: This thing knits up SERIOUSLY fast. I’m at least half way to where I want to be after one day, and that’s including my “whoops” moment where I started knitting in the wrong direction (yes, I know, it’s not hard to tell which way you should hold your work in this) and had to rip two rows. The yarn’s a bit stiff, but I’m hoping it’ll soften up on a wash and a very minor felt.

10pm: it’s done, and so fetchingly modelled by my Jack Russell Terrier. I stitched the icord to itself so there are no ends - simply draw the cord at any point.

Turns out it worked really well, so I just gave this one to the Brother-In-Law.
