I was so excited to bind off that I did not read the direction about cutting the yarn with a 24” tail. I managed to incorporate the 8” I left and the 10” from my cast on edge. disappointed_relieved whew!

I blocked the fabric to 4 1/2” rather than 4” because I have a fat head and like the extra width.
