This pattern was easy to follow and easy to modify! I did a few modifications as follows:

I chained 155 to start, that way it would ruffle a little with the addition of elastic.

I also did dtr posts instead of tr because I had already purchased a 1/2 inch blue bridal ribbon and I didn’t want it to look squished in there.

For the edging, I did 3 chain picots instead of 4 chain which made it a little pointier.

My final modification was an additional layer of ruffles behind the edging, same (2 dc, ch 3, 2 dc), just as a back post stitch alternating with the peaks and valleys of the original edging. I just wanted a little more oomph!
