Bottom halves are felting a little bit smaller than the top halves. If I were being really meticulous about it, I would probably felt the top halves once more and hope the halves match better.

Some Notes on Felting:

I found that some of my pieces took on an odd shape after I felted them in the washing machine. To counter this I simply used the ol’ Irish-Boiled-Wool method and dropped the misshapen pieces in a pot of boiling water for about a minute, wrung out excess water, and reshaped. This is by far the fastest felting method I have ever used, but it absolutely has to be sturdy 100% wool and you must stir constantly for it to work.

I then rubbed any areas that needed a little extra TLC with my hands. Worked fine and didn’t take too long.
