I had a terrible experience purchasing this yarn. I love Bernat Cottontots (it’s very similar to Lion Brands Nature’s Choice Organic Cotton except more kid friendly colors and care). JoAnnFabrics.com has a picture of the Lovely Lilac cottontots as the swatch for Very Berry so that’s what I thought I was getting. I intended to make myself a lace sweater so I bought 7 skeins. They will only accept the return if I pay shipping to send it back (I got it on sale w/ free shipping). Check return policies before purchasing yarn online; lesson learned. I really don’t like the color for my self, it’s too babyish.

I’m doing the sleeves with dpns. I like how the pattern includes instructions for boys vs girls button bands.

I gave this sweater to my friend at her baby shower. She recently had a little baby girl and named her Madison.
