Used size 8 seed beads from artbeads.com. Specifically - TOHO round metallic amethyst gun metal. It’s hard to see in the photos, but the beads have a purple sheen to them.

Followed instructions exactly. This was my first beaded project and I really enjoyed making it. The beading was a little time consuming, but fun and easy.
