Notes

12 dent heddle reed.

Using the Shepherd Sport for both warp and weft to see what happens. Noticing a strong zig-zag effect after 2” of weaving, I started alternating skeins every other row. It helped, thought here’s still some zig-zagging in areas.

My woven piece was about 13” wide and 7’ long after fulling. I used it as the outer fabric for a bag meant to hold a cricket loom. I pulled the bag dimensions from the Schacht website.

I learned a lot about both weaving and sewing with this project. It fits the cricket, as intended. So proud that I finished this.

Date of completion above is for the actual weaving. The sewing took a few days and wasn’t completed until 7/21/14.
