I’ve adapted this pattern to fit my dachshund using a fingering weight yarn.

Gauge: 27 sts per 10 cm with 3 mm needles

Neck: 27 cm
Chest: 40 cm

Alterations

• CO 88 sts w/ 2.25 mm needles for 1x1 ribbing
• Made folded collar
• w/ 3 mm needles worked 2 rounds of increases (92) sts before starting charts. -Worked charts a-e before working the armholes. While simultaneously working the 2 rounds of incs, placed 18 sts on hold for each armhole and 5 sts on either side of the BOR marker (7 on each side after working the incs). Finished with a total of 112 sts for the chest section. -Worked charts f-g and a-d for the body. Replaced inc rounds with straight stockinette. -In the 3rd round of stockinette after chart d, k until 12 sts left, turn and work DE short row. -Begin chart e, p until 12 sts left, turn and work DE short row. Continued in pattern w/ DE short rows. Worked charts e-g & a-c.
• Finished with 1x1 ribbing and Italian bind off.
