Yarn & Gauge
I used the yarn called for in the pattern and reached gauge for both the skirt and waistband, using the recommended needle sizes.

Waistband
I bound off using a 5mm needle and Jeny’s surprisingly stretchy bind off before hand sewing the waistband to the inside of the skirt.

Skirt Trim
I initially used a standard bind off and found the bind off edge flipped outward and was very visible along the bottom edge. Instead, I bound off in pattern (1x1) so the bind off edge laid more flat.
