Made 36 blocks. They came out to be about 4.5 inches square. Final blanket is about 30 inches square.

Joined using the continuous 3 chain flat braid method.

Decided the sc, ch3, sc border left by the flat braid join looked ugly and unfinished, so I added my own border from the 50 crocheted borders book.

1. ch 1, sc in same sc as joining
2. in ch 3 space, work sc, hdc, dc, dc, hdc, sc
3. sc in next sc

repeat rows 2 and 3 around, sl st in first sc
