1.24.12 - Done! Took about 5 hours. Finished the knitting last night and did the tassels this morning. I added 2 extra rows to the garter and 2 extra rows to the stockinette section after that to help get the 17 inches before the crown shaping. It fits perfectly! Used almost the entire skein of yarn, but there’s enough left that I could have done thicker or longer tassels, I think.

1.23.12 - Gonna try this as-written with size 10s since so many people said theirs came out small. Considering doing a braided or twisted cord instead of tassels to help keep my ears covered when it’s windy.
