My goal for today was multi faceted: stay home alone, watch X Files for the first time, quiet my brain bees, and attempt to cast on and cast off a full shawl in one day. I managed to accomplish all of that save for 13 rows and a picot bind off. Considering that’s over 4,000 stitches, I’m calling it a successful day and plan to finish the entire shawl this weekend.

Finished the shawl in entirety on Easter Sunday.

Pattern is lovely and easy to gain a rhythm. Zero complaints. Went up a needle size to accommodate the nature of single ply yarn.

This yarn was gifted to me. Typically, I hate singles (squeaky and fuzzy) but this was a pleasant surprise! Very little fuzz and NO squeaking.
