Notes

I’ve never knit an adult size sweater in dk weight and it has been a really stretch of my patience! Thank goodness this sweater is cropped AND has short sleeves. lol

I can’t say enough good things about this yarn. So soft, vibrant, saturated colors (pictures don’t do it justice) and doesn’t split at all for me. Granted, I’m using Addi Clicks, so that may have something to do with it.

The pattern itself is very clear and easy to read. I truly appreciated the wide range of sizes. A lot of vintage inspired patterns have limited bust sizes and I was thrilled to find something that worked for me.

The cables were the most painstaking part of the project. Once I got into a rhythm, it would take me about 10 minutes to complete the cable needle row.

The picture with the ball of yarn is the most accurate color. Kind of. Hoping to get better quality pictures once it’s finished.

Still haven’t found the idea buttons yet, so I’m holding out until they’re located.

ETA: December 2013 This sweater is never going to fit me right again. I had another baby AND lost a lot of weight after having her, so the proportions are just all wrong. Frogging this yarn leads to great disaster (loss of shine and it fuzzes), so I gave it away to my favorite barista at Starbucks. She’s a knitter and loves it.
