Please note: There isn’t a new technique in the pattern. I was sadly disappointed to not find any new short row technique. I’ve done short rows within a lace pattern in the past and also hat patterns with short rows that do not involve a wrap and turn.

Also, yardage requirements are questionable. I had the exact yardage required for the lower yardage amount, exact gauge as noted on the pattern page, and still came up woefully short. I frogged back, did a picot edge, and then used the bit of yardage left over for delicate tassels on the end.

The shawl itself is lovely and wearable. It was a good mix of mundane mindless tv knitting in the garter and memorizable lace.
