added an extra repeat (of 7) to my usual pattern. Cast on 56, 2 ridges garter (purl a row, knit a row, purl a row) change to gull wing lace pattern (a la the February Lady Sweater) for 11 repeats (5”), then do 8 rows plain knit for the cuff (6”).

Heel stitch over 28 sts for 29 rows. Picked up 15 sts at heel for gusset. Do gusset decreases to 52 sts total. At 6 3/4” do star toe (any longer you’ll run out of yarn, otherwise do shorter cuff).
