Gregg and I have been watching Outlander and he liked the tams the guys wore. I knew I could find a pattern on ravelry.

Used 16” circulars and doublepoints rather than magicloop.

Had to start the third skein with 5 rows left.

Photos of the hat being worn look bluer, it is more a gray with a blue cast to it, the felting seemed to bring out more of the blue-gray cast to it.

Gregg loves his hat & says it is very warm.

If I made this again, I’d probably use a smaller needle for the ribbing (inner circle) as that stayed fairly large even on the small size.
