My fairly unhealthy affection for The IT Crowd and for Moss in particular led to this project. Also I had a bunch of acrylic, but I can’t remember why.
So I was going to use this project to teach myself intarsia, but then I started it in the round on circulars, and it seemed like intarsia was the wrong choice. Can you do intarsia in the round?
Anyway, I ended up duplicate-stitching the Moss I’d charted out (also: I can’t remember if knit stitches are longer than they are wide or what, so he looks a bit thick), which was the sort of soothing project (like latch hooking or paint-by-numbers) which I imagine people do in various sorts of care facilities.
As one might imagine, the duplicate-stitch area is quite thick and a bit hot.
The glow-in-the-dark yarn, used only for Moss’ glasses, has excellent glow power, which I’ve tried with limited success to capture in photos--it is held double for the dupe stitching here.

ETA: added charts of Moss with and without mouth. I made and used this one, but I should note that I messed around with the dupe stitches around his nose to make it only one stitch wide. I think it would work as a two stitch nose, but that’s just not how it worked out in my little spree.

E (again) TA: OH MY GOD I didn’t follow my own chart. Just noticed that. No wonder he’s so stubby--he’s a row short!

I have since gone in and added that extra row. He looks better.
