Kit purchased -- CashCob in Night Forest, thereby bucking the trend of Black Orchid among the other folks who are doing this.

The plan is to blog this over on the Mess in Progress, setting up it’s own project page.

Yarn should be arriving today. Need to take pictures and consider winding first skein today or tomorrow.

Yarn arrived yesterday. Photographed and added to Ravelry. Set up beads and wind first skein tonight. Consider buying additional Size 00 DPNs in longer length.

Pattern released and cast on begun. Used Judy’s magic cast-on for toe-up socks and switch to four needles with row 4, just before beading began. Only took 45 minutes. :)
