11/14/18 Candy Cane towels - red, green & white on an undulating twill. Started winding the warp last weekend. About halfway through with that.

11/24/18 - Winding of the warp is finished, and today I got about half of it threaded through the reed. Going F2B on this one.

12/2/18 - Reed is threaded, started threading the heddles. In between the two of those I realized I had wound EIGHT strands for the red and the wide white stripes, so an undulating twill won’t work. I broke out my I Weave It program and figured out that threading a straight twill for those two sections will work. I am now about 1/4 through threading the heddles.

12/9/18 - Had to suffer through a nightmare while warping. Started winding on the back beam, in the WRONG direction. Pulled it off to rewind, and ended up with a horrifically tangled mess. Finally got it warped up tonight and started weaving!

12/20/19 - Finished! 10 towels off the warp. These turned out the perfect size, as far as I’m concerned. I LOVE the way they look, I love the feel of the Brassard 8/2 cotton, and I love the finished hand of these towels after washing/drying. They have a great texture.

16x24.5” finished size. I’m pretty sure I was weaving 32” under tension (and that’s including hems).
