8/09 The pattern is now available! The modeled shots from the pattern show how the cardi looks with a couple inches of positive ease; the photos of me wearing it (bathroom mirror shot) show how it looks with zero/slightly negative ease.

I’m getting a third skein of Royal Touch from a swap with a fellow Sundaraphile, but even so I will probably use some Arabian nights for the cuffs and hems.

12/09 I should not be working on this! I have Christmas knitting to do! And essays to write! But I finished the yoke and am now working on the body.

2/11/09 Picked this back up a few days ago, and finished knitting the garter stitch edging on the sleeves this morning. I managed to find the perfect buttons at the craft store this afternoon, so I finished it up -- and I love it! I just need to find more camisoles to wear under it.

ETA: Still working on the pattern -- the written part is pretty much done, but I need to take nicer photos and do the layout.
