Not sure if I have a really tiny head, but the finished hat according to the pattern seems kinda big. Went down in needle size. For most hats, cast on 100 stitches with size 7 needles to work in the round. Worked in K2P2 for 3.5”-4”. Switched to size 8 needles and worked in stockinette stitch until work measured 7.5”-8” high. Used three needle bind-off to finish. This smaller size is still too big for me, but it fits with what my sizing guides tell me is recommended for women. Dunno.

Only had a week to work on these hats. Managed to knit 5 and crochet an additional 5 before deadline.
