I finally gave up trying to figure out how to ‘finish’ the sewing… There’s a little gap in the stitching on one side of the top knot. I wish there were better pictures… but I suppose it is a Theory more than anything.

The Cotton Yarn FEELS wonderful and stretchy - it seems like it might be a good all-weather hat - maybe even potential for chemo-hat softness, though the mercerized cotton (the purple) is a little scratchier than the ‘regular’ dishcloth type worsted.

Might try again in more neutral colors for my Christmas Sale Collection. Will have to make longer/taller… either more stitches or bigger needles… though the tight fabric makes it nice and springy.
