Reverse engineering from photos and other’s more detailed notes, since no longer available online… disclaimer due to potential copyright violation(s)?
Cast on provionally 44 stitches (for joining when done to make loop) Purl 2, (k4, p4) x 10, k2. Every row x head circumference x 2 (40-ish inches)
Looks wider than the one in the picture… need to check gauge.
Could be twisted before joining to create true Mobius effect (l wonder if I could do this ala Cat Bohrdi mobius method on a long circular)

Trying to figure out how long to make this from the existing projects… One person said to seam up 6-8 inches… the original photos look like the cap is about 1/3 of the total length and the scarf/wrap is about 2/3 of the total… so… either (12”+24”=) 36” to (16” + 32” =) 48”… works for me! Someone else said that Scarf knitting is sooooo tedius. Like the idea of minimizing the point, too - but with a supersoft yarn like this, it probably won’t be an issue.
Probably should’ve done 3 stitches on either side of the 40 stitch center ribbing… 1 row for seam.

Well. For better or worse, it’s done. It’s very stretchy and surprisingly comfortable on my 24” head… though a bit snug. I will have friends with normal sized heads try out (21-22”)… the 1/2 mobius twist gives it a little more overall twist - can’t say it’s necessary or not. It wasn’t any more difficult - the join was basically invisible - I put it front and center and the slubby cotton is very forgiving.
I have a couple more skeins of the gray cotton left over… will probably do another with 3 edge stitches instead of 2 (1 extra for the seam…) and look at the suggestions for getting rid of “the point”.
