Doing them 2-at-a-time AND mirroring the chart/pattern, since there are two skeins and the color sequences are offset. Not sure if I can keep it up but it did seem to make counting of toe increases more reliable.

Alas… after 2-1/2 years of timeout out (two at a time defeats me every time I try… I grab the wrong ball and they become instantly Conjoined Twin Sox)… repurposing for a fun test knit…. Crossing fingers.
