Oooh. Aaaah! Have always drooled over this yarn in my knitpicks catalog… found this gem hiding in a tote with other less glamorous yarns at the Wonderful Scrap Exchange…

It did have an inappropriately sequenced knot/break in it so I’m using the smaller length as the contrast/accent but WHY DONT THEY AT LEAST TRY TO APPROXIMATE THE COLOR SHIFT WHEN THEY SELL A BROKEN SKEIN OF YARN?

When life gives you knots, make a two-color project!

Darker green ended up ‘syncing’ - and the long color shift didn’t cooperate either… so the join sequence is somewhat dissatisfying… have enough left over to do a 2nd hat - should I pick one of the others in this set - or something entirely different. Decisions, decisions. I just ADORE doing ‘sideways’ hats - especially from This Designer! She never disappoints me!
