Purchased lots of variegated sock yarn in various shades of teal/blue/purple/etc. a couple of years ago… and turns out many of them didn’t match… Was kind of sad but…

had to go out and buy some more so that I can FINALLY get this one onto some needles!!! Happy CoronaQuarantine to MEEEEEEE

I wouldn’t call this ‘easy’ - there’s always a little fuss to brioche-ing - can’t tell you the number of times I’ve had to restart the brioche stripes due to a dropped stitch - one set I didn’t ‘catch’ until I was nearly to the next one :(

So long and narrow… a panorama picture is working better to capture it. You can really tell that using slightly different weights of yarn is making a little difference in the overall width… hopefully blocking will help even it up… but asymetric could be a ‘design feature’, right?

Just not feeling it… the tan AND the Teal AND the dark purple-blue was just pukey. It’s still a beautiful pattern… but just time for a do-over
